The electrician returned to renew the cable from the house to the outbuildings on Thursday last, and yesterday we received confirmation from nPower that they had us registered at the 43.3p rate.

Our gas boiler went to boiler heaven more than six weeks ago, and whilst we have bought a new boiler, getting a gas fitter to come and fit it is like pulling hens teeth!!
Solar iBoost to the rescue!
Apart from a couple of days being without hot water (when the sun failed to play the game!) the Solar iBoost has provided lots of hot water heating the water in the tank in the airing cupboard.
We are so pleased that you advised us to incorporate the Solar iBoost into our solar panel installation work and to out minds the money was well spent having come into its own over the past few weeks.

Phil & Sue says: With the recent storm Arwen and power cut over the weekend I wanted to thank you and all at Solar Star power for the installation of not only the solar panels but also the Tesla Powerwall. Through judicious switching off of non-essential smart devices (amazing how they add up) we were able to last through the 30 hours of grid outage and continue to power our gas-fired central heating pump, lights, television and brew the odd cup of tea. Fortunately the power went off about 7am so the battery was pretty full after its overnight Octopus Go charge.

The system works very well & we produce a very good amount of energy, even now in winter as long as the sun makes an appearance! We would highly recommend the company.
Andy says: I purchased a 6kwp Solar PV system and Tesla Powerwall 2 from David and Craig at Solar Star Power. What a great company to deal with. No `Fluff`, no upselling, no inflated prices, just honest and trustworthy advice. I said what I wanted to achieve, the system was proposed, a quote was with me within 24 hours and the installation was completed a few weeks later. The team of fitters were slick and tidy. The electricians did some extra work in my meter cabinet to move some bits around, nothing was too much trouble. All the cabling is hidden in cavity walls, from the loft to a downstairs cupboard where the inverter is located.
It is very unusual these days, to find a company that are reasonably priced, do a professional job and actually listen to what a customer wants.
I have already recommended Solar Star Power to two friends who are considering a similar installation.
