The GivEnergy storage system can store up free energy from renewables or use the grid to charge your battery overnight when energy costs are low. This will allow you to switch to battery power and run your home on low-cost sustainable energy, helping you to lice cheaper, greener, and with more control over your energy.
GivEnergy batteries are fully recyclable, non-flammable, and non-toxic. They are ethically sourced and cobalt-free. GivEnergy is also a local company, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Remotely connect to your GivEnergy devices and monitor and manage your energy using your GivEnergy smartphone / tablet / personal computer app.
The GivEnergy is a versatile battery and can be installed in a range of locations, either wall mounted or floor standing, and can be fitted internally or externally. It does require some housing if installed externally to meet warranty regulations.
GivEnergy has just increased the battery warranty from 10 years to 12 years.

You will need to be at home and available throughout the day of your installation. Our installation team, usually consists of two installers who will arrive with you in the morning. If you are having PV installed at the same time, an additional team will also be on site.
A GivEnergy battery storage system comprises of at least one GivEnergy battery, an inverter and the electrical hardware required by the property, such as a meter, main panel and solar inverter. The GivEnergy is designed to be wall-mounted or ground mounted, and always kept in an upright position. They can be installed internally, away from direct heat sources. When mounted outdoors, they should have a canopy above for shelter. It may be installed at the same time as the PV or retrospectively.
The installation usually takes the Solar Star Power team a full day to install and commission, depending on the complexity of the electrical work required. We will also need to turn your electricity supply off for about one hour, if this is a problem, please let us know.
Installation must be carried out by an approved installer, and you can operate your GivEnergy Battery through an app on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, see example below.
The GivEnergy All In One must be installed no more than 2 metres from the incoming mains. We can discuss the positioning of the battery when we come out to survey your property.
If your property does not already have an earth rod, we will need to add one if you are having an All In One GivEnergy.
If you would like more than one battery we can install them side by side.
The GivEnergy requires an active internet connection, either wireless or wired, please have your router login information available when we come to install.
Once the GivEnergy has been turned on, download the GivEnergy app and start monitoring your battery storage and home energy usage.
